This is the fourth year that several Middlesex County churches are joining together for a community worship, “One Community Under God.” This year it will be on Sunday, October 27, at 11 a.m. The service will take place inside the Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department firehouse in Urbanna. After the worship service, all who attend are invited for a light lunch.
The music will be provided by a choir of members of the churches. There will also be solo and instrumental numbers as well as congregational singing.
Parking will be available in the Waverly Commons lot (Bay Aging building) on Virginia St.
Handicapped parking will be available to vehicles with designated handicap tags in the lot on Waverly Road, across from the side of the firehouse.
The churches that are co-hosting the One Community Under God worship service and luncheon are Antioch Baptist; Calvary Baptist; Christ Church Parish; Grafton Baptist; Immanuel Baptist; Mt. Zion Baptist; Remlik Wesleyan; Urbanna Baptist; and Urbanna United Methodist.
All are invited to come to join in the worship, music and fellowship of a meal. Bring your family and dress is casual.
