Larry Oniel Waller passed away peacefully early Friday morning, September 27, 2019 at the age of 62.
Larry was employed by Ransone’s Nursery and Maintenance Inc. in Weems, and also provided independent landscaping and lawn service to residents across the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula. He and his wife owned two franchise 7-Eleven convenience stores in Hartfield and Cooks Corner/Saluda.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Michele Sutherlin Waller; three daughters, Shalonda, Erika, and Sherik Waller; two stepsons, Rev. Dr. William J. Smith Jr. (Dennine), and Andre’ Smith (Yesenia); two brothers; five sisters; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; nine brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A public viewing will be held Friday, October 4, from 4-7 p.m. at Berry O. Waddy Funeral Home, 6784 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster. Services will be held on Saturday, October 5, at 11 a.m. at New St. Johns Baptist Church, 560 S. Main Street, Kilmarnock, with the viewing one hour prior to service. Interment will be held at New St. Johns Baptist Church cemetery, 560 S. Main St., Kilmarnock, VA 22482.
