Wings, Wheels & Keels on Saturday, September 28, at Hummel Air Field in Topping will have a great mix of boats on display that should appeal to everyone, said boat chair Buzz Jones.
The variety includes race boats, home-builts, classics, antiques and a collection of traditional Chesapeake Bay designs, as well as many other interesting watercraft.
Members of the Antique and Classic Boat Society will have boats on display.
Race boats include those from the Virginia Outlaw Drag Boat Association, Smith Island racing crab skiffs, and Cocktail Class wooden race boats.
Also on display will be several boats representing the work of well-known local Deltaville boat builders.
Larry Chowning, writer and authority on these types of vessels, will be on hand as well.
In addition to the boats, the USCG Power Squadron will have a boating skills simulator on hand to test your skills and to teach safe boating practices.
