Families invited to free outdoor movie

Summer fun is still available for families of Middlesex. The movie “Inside Out” will be shown outdoors on the playground of Middlesex Elementary School on Friday night, September 20.

This animated movie is fun for the whole family.

The movie will start promptly at 7 p.m. behind the elementary school. Parking is provided in the school parking lots and on the field next to the parking area.

Bring blankets and lawn chairs. Free hot dogs, bags of popcorn and bottles of waters will be provided until supplies run out. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The movie, food, water are being provided by a group of local churches. Church of the Visitation, Clarksbury Methodist, Greater Grace and Lebanon Baptist, Grafton Baptist, Harmony Grove Baptist, Hermitage Baptist, New Hope Fellowship, Philippi Christian, Saluda Baptist, Trinity Lutheran, Urbanna Baptist and Zoar Baptist churches have joined together to treat our community to a fun family night. No reservations are needed, just come before 7 p.m. to get a good spot.

“We would like to thank the Middlesex County School Board and the elementary school for working with us to help make this possible,” said Cristie Jenkins, Lift Children of Middlesex coordinator.

In case of rain, the movie will be canceled.
