Ladies Bible study brunch planned at Zoar Baptist

The Wednesday Morning Ladies Bible Study resumes at Zoar Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 4, at 9:30 a.m. with a brunch.

“Please join us for brunch and get acquainted with ladies in our community,” said Emily Bailey, Bible study facilitator. “Bring your appetite and bring a friend as we greet one another in the fellowship hall (side door facing DCA building). We have women throughout Middlesex and neighboring counties joining us and we welcome one and all.”

This is an inter-denominational Bible study group of Christian women. On September 4, the facilitators will address any questions participants may have and will share plans for this 12-week study. Worksheets will be distributed to those continuing with the study.

This fall’s study will be centered on the book of John under the video teaching of Dr. Tony Evans, one of the country’s most respected leaders in evangelical circles. Dr. Evans is the first African-American to graduate from Dallas Theological Seminary with a doctorate in theology and he is the father of Priscilla Shirer.

For further information call the church office from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Monday through Thursday, at 776-9502. “There is no charge for this study, but bring a 3-ring binder or folder for worksheets,” said Bailey. “We are looking forward to meeting you.”

Zoar Baptist Church is at 17097 General Puller Hwy., Deltaville.
