Zoar beach service continues through Labor Day weekend

Children gave a musical presentation at a recent 8:30 a.m. beach service at Stingray Point in Deltaville. This was the conclusion to Zoar’s Music Camp that was offered every Wednesday throughout the month of July.

Do you like to worship surrounded by God’s beautiful creations? You are invited to an out-of-doors experience that

will lift your spirits and provide encouragement to your daily walk with God.

Zoar Baptist Church has a beach service every Sunday, as weather permits, at their property at the end of Route 33 at Stingray Point in Deltaville. It begins at 8:30 a.m. and continues through Labor Day weekend.

“Come early and fellowship with a wonderful group of seekers as we sing praises and have a short sermon by Dr. John Snow,” said a regular attendee. “We have had great weather and this past Sunday was most pleasant.”

All are welcome, so bring a lawn chair and set up anywhere you wish among the pines. Follow Route 33 to the end and bear left. The pine tree section to your right on the river is the location of the service. Coffee and snacks will be available.
