Master of ceremonies and orator Montgomery Carter Deihl crowns Miss Alyssa Summerville Booth of White Stone Queen of the Holly Realm.

The downpours of the evening did little to dampen the dazzling spirits of the debutantes, their escorts and families, and the over 400 guests attending the 123rd annual Holly Ball Friday, December 28.

Presented were 21 beautiful young ladies as debutantes in a glorious evening of wonderful drink and food offerings with excellent musical entertainment provided by the Kings of Swing, reported Ginny Crowther Ritter of the publicity committee.

The beautifully festive venue of Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club near Kilmarnock provided the perfect setting as the splendidly attired guests enjoyed a glorious evening at the premier holiday social event of the Northern Neck/Middle Peninsula, said Ritter.

Reigning Queen Trinity Dabriel Bea, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Tirelle Bea of Burgess, was resplendent in her reign throughout the evening. A student at the United States Military Academy, Miss Bea was escorted by Justin Kyle Washington of White Stone.

Ammon G. Dunton, chairman of the Tidewater Foundation, introduced master of ceremonies Montgomery Carter Deihl, who also served as orator for the evening.
